Anan den Boer

Anan

Piano / producer

Anan is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who has been involved in writing, co-producing and playing for other artists since the age of 16.
His sound is best described as modern soul music. There is a nostalgic feel of old jazz, soul and funk but mixed with a fresh modern production behind it.

He wrote the music for Jarreau's streaming hits Someone That You Love and Make You Love Me. He is actively working as a producer, composer or band member for various artists such as Tito Jackson (3T), Alain Clark, Full Crate, Ronnie Flex and many more.

Anan had an early start in professional musicianship. With his mother as a classical pianist, his father an actor and his brother a theater producer, the arts were like a first language for him. Starting with playing piano, drums and guitar from the age of 5. From the age of 14, he really got taken seriously by going to a high school that specialized in art. Since then, jazz piano became his first priority, but he always mixed it with hip-hop and soul music.

The characteristics of sound were always important to him. It was therefore no surprise that after he obtained his bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he built studio after studio and started to master the arts of producing and mixing.

After years of working with other artists, he felt it was time to tell his own story. That is why he is at a very important crossroads this time. His debut solo album was released in December 2021 and can be heard here.
